Style 606 Carbon Yarn Packing

CONSTRUCTION: Multi-Lok Braid

TREATMENT: Treated throughout with graphite particles.

LIMITATIONS: Temperatures to 650°F/345°C in oxidizing atmospheres, 1200°F/650°C in steam, pH 0-14 except in strong oxidizers, shaft speeds up to 2,000 FPM.

EQUIPMENT AND USES: General service rotating and reciprocating shafts, high temperature valves. Use in all chemical services where carbon is suitable.

FEATURES: A combination of unique amorphous carbon yarns treated throughout with fine particles of graphite. Excellent alternative where graphite yarn packings are too expensive.
