CONSTRUCTION: Multi-Lok Braid

YARN: Expanded PTFE/graphite

TREATMENT: Lubricated with a proprietary high speed lubricant.

LIMITATIONS: Temperature to 550°F/287°C pH range 0-14, shaft speeds to 2000 FPM.

EQUIPMENT: All reciprocating or rotating shafts and valves, chemically corrosive applications and boiler feed pumps.

FEATURES: Finely ground particles of the highest quality graphite encapsulated in a TFE matrix to eliminate graphite migration. Dissipates heat.

Style 402 Yellow Bee

CONSTRUCTION: Multi-Lok Braid

YARN: Made from expanded PTFE/Graphite and Dupont's KEVLAR®.

TREATMENT: Light coat of an inert break-in oil.

LIMITATIONS: Temperatures to 550°F/287°C, pH range 3-11, shaft speeds to 1900 FPM.

EQUIPMENT: Paper mill stock pumps, agitators, oils, solvents, pulping liquors, pulpers, steam and chemical mixers or any service where strength and good lubricating qualities are needed.

FEATURES: A combination of Style 400 and Kevlar Aramid Fibers. This construction provides the strength of Aramid Fibers and the heat dissipating and lubricating qualities of GFO® fibers.

Style 406 Graphite General Service

CONSTRUCTION: Multi-Lok Braid.

YARN: Synthetic Fibers.

TREATMENT: Each strand is individually coated with graphite and the braid is surface coated with graphite.

LIMITATIONS: Temperatures to 450°F/232°C, pH range 4-10, shaft speeds to 1000 FPM.

EQUIPMENT AND USES: Good general service packing on rotary and reciprocating equipment.

FEATURES: Non-asbestos fibers treated with a specially formulated blend of lubricants having a saxoline base.

This formulation makes the difference. The ductile nature of the lubricant prevents wicking and provides superior sealibility.

Style 525 High Temperature Valve Packing

CONSTRUCTION: An Inconel inserted, heat stabilized fiberglass yarn is braided over a flexible, plasticised core. Corrosion inhibitors are added and so is a high temperature graphite finish.

SURFACE TREATMENT: Molycoated.

LIMITATIONS: Maximum line temperature 1200°F/649°C for valve service, pressures to 2500 PSI. RECOMMENDED FOR: Steam, superheated steam, air petroleum products, hot gases.

FEATURES: Inconel wire inserted carbon yarn jacket over a core of high temperature resistant homogeneous plastic core with a special high temperature binder and graphite. A corrosion inhibitor is added to protect the valve.

Thermabraid™ is braided from pure expanded graphite yarns with an exceptionally low organic content. This results in a long-lasting packing, featuring a low coefficient of friction, excellent heat transfer properties, and exceptional chemical resistance.

CONSTRUCTION: Interlock braided graphite yarn with carbon corners. (Not on 1/8" & 3/16")

TEMPERATURE: Max 2000°F (1100°C) in non-oxidizing environment.

PRESSURE: Valves, Max 2500 PSI - Pumps, Max 500 PSI.

pH RANGE: 0-14

SHAFT SPEED: 4000 FPM Max

Excellent packing for use in pumps and valves in petrochemical/refining, hydrocarbon processing, pulp and paper, power and other industrial applications.
